Be Creative

"An essential part of being creative is not being afraid to Fail!" Edwin Land
"Be curious , not judgemental" Ted Lasso (Walt Whitman)

Personally I think everyone needs to be creative no matter what you're being  creative with! Below are some of my  projects.

Blackjack

This was was an early short film we scripted, filmed and produced. I purposely didn't include dialogue as my aim was to use visuals to tell a story.

Synopsis. 50 year old Gambler (Protagonist)is nervous about an impending illegal Blackjack game, moves on to the actual game, ultimately winning against the opposing player (Antagonist)

The Lake

Ambient short film contrasting the tranquillity of a Park Lake against an abandoned hospital with a eerie increasing soundtrack, accompanied with motion graphics

Immersive Sound

This production centres on audio, hence the fixed image. It attempts to bring about the feeling of a journey through sound. This is useful as it can be linked to immersive experiences, geolocated messages such as key information in arts displays, museums and the work place for training and safety purposes. It can be linked to geolocating immersive AR software such as Echoes.xyz

Penny Lane - An Immersive Tour

Using Echoes I've plotted a brief go located immersive tour sounding the key points in the Beetles " Penny Lane" song. You can access it via the learn more tab below or via the QR Code below. Remember you have to be onsite at Penny Lane and have Echoes on your Phone ( it's free !). The learn more button below will take to to the Echoes web page

Hometown

Back in 2021 Open-Eye Galleries featured work by Luke( lead videographer)

Luke adds that:-

"Street Art  really interests me ,the expression and artistic effort that goes with it sometimes reflects the culture of the city as we know it, or in some cases it’s a stark contradiction such as a modern mural on a period building. This creates a clash between the historical aspects and the modern expressive nature of street art, but it seems to work"
